An interview with Lincoln Pentz, a member of the boys’ volleyball team, answered some questions about the boys’ volleyball team.
When Pentz was asked about the team’s game plan, he responded with, “Serving aggressively and mastering the fundamentals.” Pentz is new to playing volleyball on the team and his team needs to focus on the basics.
Pentz believes “some other teams have very powerful spiking ability”, he adds “since they have more height.” He also remarked, “We could be better if we communicate better.”
One of the more seasoned players on the team is Hudson Pennell. “I think Hudson is the mvp |;| he’s very skilled at volleyball”; “he knows what’s to do in every situation”, Pentz said.
I asked him why he joined the volleyball team; he exclaimed, “I think people should join because it’s a very fun sport and it’s not that tiring.” He also added, “We are going to continue to develop and further the greatness of our gameplay.”
A personal improvement Lincoln Pentz mentioned was “now I have lots more skills and can hit the ball soft and high.” His team also has been improving, “we have very good setting |;| it’s always straight up” Pentz highlighted.
To come out and support Lincoln Pentz and his teammates; Pentz shared his upcoming game schedule, which includes games on 3 and 5 of October here at Pine Island Academy. The season will continue until November when the boys’ volleyball Playoffs begin.
