Kindergarten Character Parade

NOCATEE,FL: Pine Island Academy put on a kindergarten parade on October 31, where the students dressed up as their favorite book character.

Many people said the parade was cute and creative. A spectator at the parade says her favorite part about the parade is, “Seeing all the creative costumes that the kids come up with to be characters because I love reading. I love that it’s a character parade and it’s all about literacy.”

There are many things that go into this parade, and this means things can be improved. A Middle school teacher said they could improve the parade by adding music next time.

There are many things to love about this parade. A spectator says her favorite part about the parade is, “ Getting to hang out with the first grade class and watching all the cool costumes that the kindergarteners are dressed up as.”

The Kindergarten parade is very fun for many people, but only the kindergarteners get to participate. An Elementary school teacher says, “ They could improve the parade by letting another grade level join them.”

All ages are able to watch the parade. A middle school student says her favorite part about the parade is “Seeing little kids all dressed up, it’s so cute!”

There are many things to enjoy about the parade, but many spectators and teachers say their favorite part is all of the cute and creative costumes!
